Alison Fairbrother is the director of the nonpartisan Public Trust Project, which investigates and reports on misrepresentations of science by corporations and government, and promotes the findings of independent scientists. Her reporting on menhaden has appeared in the Washington Monthly, Salon and Grist. She is a contributing editor of the Washington Spectator.
