NORFOLK, VA – Experts on climate change, resiliency, and the environment will discuss issues facing the region at an April 25 Blue Planet Forum titled Planning for Climate Change in the Chesapeake Bay. The discussion will cover the impacts of climate change on the environment and the Bay and lessons learned for adapting to recurrent flooding and sea level rise.
Speakers include University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science President Don Boesch, Ph.D., Charleston Resilience Network Chair Don Burger, Chesapeake Bay Foundation Director of Science and Agricultural Policy Beth McGee, and Royal Netherlands Embassy Senior Economist Dale Morris.
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 25, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Old Dominion University’s Ted Constant Center at 4320 Hampton Boulevard in Norfolk.
