National Aquarium - Atlantic White Cedar Tree Restoration at Nassawango Creek Preserve

April 1, 2017

9:00am - 2:00pm

Location:

Help to restore the Atlantic white cedar habitat in Nassawango Creek Preserve, a 15-square-mile wetland and upland habitat that is home to 60 migratory birds species, a number of rare plant species. This is part of an ongoing effort through the Aquarium’s Wetland Nursery Program, which encourages students in Worcester and Somerset counties to become environmental stewards through hands-on opportunities to care for trees in a nursery pond on their school grounds. This workday is rain or shine.
